A Convergence Criterion for a Class of Integration Methods
A criterion is established for the convergence of sequences of a general type of Runge-Kutta method. The criterion is expressed in terms of "weak convergence", a property defined in the paper.
متن کاملinvestigating the integration of translation technologies into translation programs in iranian universities: basis for a syllabus design in translation technology
today, information technology and computers are indispensable tools of any profession and translation technologies have become an indispensable part of translator’s workstation. with the increasing demands for high productivity and speed as well as consistency and with the rise of new demands for translation and localization, it is necessary for translators to be familiar with market demands an...
Strong convergence theorem for a class of multiple-sets split variational inequality problems in Hilbert spaces
In this paper, we introduce a new iterative algorithm for approximating a common solution of certain class of multiple-sets split variational inequality problems. The sequence of the proposed iterative algorithm is proved to converge strongly in Hilbert spaces. As application, we obtain some strong convergence results for some classes of multiple-sets split convex minimization problems.
متن کاملLocal Convergence Analysis for a Certain Class of Inexact Methods
Abstract. We provide a local convergence analysis for a certain class inexact methods in a Banach space setting, in order to approximate a solution of a nonlinear equation [6]. The assumptions involve center–Lipschitz–type and radius–Lipschitz–type conditions [15], [8], [5]. Our results have the following advantages (under the same computational cost): larger radii, and finer error bounds on th...
متن کاملConvergence Results for a Class of Abstract Continuous Descent Methods
We study continuous descent methods for the minimization of Lipschitzian functions defined on a general Banach space. We establish convergence theorems for those methods which are generated by approximate solutions to evolution equations governed by regular vector fields. Since the complement of the set of regular vector fields is σ-porous, we conclude that our results apply to most vector fiel...
